Melina Schneider, Patient Intake Coordinator
Melina joined the team in January of 2018 and is the first point of contact for most of our patients.
She is originally from Salt Lake City, UT, and relocated to MN to raise her family. She has a certificate in medical coding and has worked in customer service her entire career.
Like the rest of us, Melina is cross-trained in almost all areas of our clinic, from surgical prior authorizations to medical scribing for Dr. Hanson during patient clinic visits. She often can complete any task that is asked of her.
If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment, Melina will listen to your specific symptoms and get you scheduled appropriately with Dr. Dan Hanson.
Melina can be reached directly at 612-670-4971, option 2, or by email at [email protected]
Linda Horvath, Billing Specialist
Linda has worked behind the scenes at Minnesota Spine Institute since December 2021, but her journey started with Dr. Hanson while working as his surgery coordinator in Duluth.
While Linda is cross-trained in many areas within MSI, Linda’s primary responsibility is to ensure MSI’s insurance claim billing and receivables are handled correctly from beginning to end. She also helps coordinate care for patients whenever needed and is willing to take on more responsibilities as the need arises.
With the ability to work remotely from home, it helps Linda maintain a work-life balance that is very important to her. In Linda’s free time, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and four children, while proudly answering to the name “Grammy” as she watches her grandchildren grow. She finds joy in gardening, crafting, and spending time outdoors.
Linda can be reached at 612-670-4971, ext.107.
